Our customer service team members have comprehensive working knowledge of all types of special cargo transportation requirements. Whether the customer's requirement calls for perishable, express, dangerous goods or large complex moves, the Platinum customer service specialists are always trained on and knowledgeable as to a individual partner's network standards, capabilities and products.

Our customer service infrastructure is state of the art, including comprehensive VOIP technologies that afford our partners the option of centralizing customer service needs through one of our central reservations facilities in London, New York or Houston, while maintaining a local presence and telephone number in key defined markets.

In certain circumstances, we can also port over existing customer service phone numbers or design other solutions as-needed.

Of course, we are staffed 24/7 with on call duty managers to ensure the highest levels of response and accuracy.

Finance and Billing:

Platinum Air Cargo is a full member of the IATA CASS system, and can therefore offer our customers the ability to bill through the CASS system, giving you the safety and prestige associated with clearinghouse billing.

In addition to IATA/CASS settlements, Platinum Air Cargo can also assist you in developing your local market by offering direct billing to non-CASS participating forwarding agents.

Our finance team has an in depth knowledge of the processes involved in most modern air cargo reservations systems. We are therefore able to perform any of a number of financial functions, from simple billing to AWB capture and EQA processing. All functions are always performed in accordance with our partners process descriptions and are managed according to accepted accounting procedures

We understand and can measure and report on a wide variety of KPIs relating to a service provider's adherence to our partner's network standards, or your customer's adherence to accepted levels of quality commonly referred to as "R4C or Ready for Carriage".

Road Feeder Service / Trucking Management:

Having the right cargo and ground handling services to meet your customers' needs is one part of the quality equation, but for most carriers today, shifting production patterns mean that cargo catchment areas are moving away from traditional cities where many major airlines retain hub or international gateways.

To maintain and grow market share under these changing demographics, a reliable and cost-effective RFS network is a must.  While almost anyone can arrange so-called "air trucking", very few providers have the process knowledge or relationships necessary to manage and measure RFS providers according to the standards of the air cargo industry.

Platinum Air Cargo works only with those providers who are capable of meeting accepted network standards for FSU messaging, on time delivery, and low claims ratios. We can, together with your network management team, design and implement comprehensive RFS networks or lane-by-lane solutions to support your international or domestic cargo gateways.
